Where and How can I book a ticket?
openYou can book by one of three ways; ONLINE, BY TELEPHONE and IN PERSON.
E-MAIL booking is also available for those who would like to book from overseas.
Can I select my own seat on booking?
openYes, you can select your own seat. In case of e-mail booking, seats will be selected automatically according to the price range of your preference.
Can I cancel or exchange my tickets?
openNo cancellation or tickets exchange will be permitted once payment has been completed. We may provide refunds only when a performance is cancelled—in such a case, we will try to contact you as much as possible.
What should I do in case I lose my tickets?
openPlease contact our box office by email info-en@saf.or.jp.
The response may be different depending on the performance.
Do you have any discount tickets?
openWe offer “U-25” discount tickets for those who are aged 25 and under. For many of performances presented by SAITAMA ARTS FOUNDATION U25 concessions will be available, and they must be requested at the time of booking.
The prices and number of seats available may vary depending on the performance. Please check details for each performance (See WHAT’S ON section). Proof of eligibility must be shown for U25 concessions at the entrance of the theater/hall on the day of the performance.
How can I get tickets on the day of the performance?
openFor the performances presented by SAITAMA ARTS FOUNDATION, limited number of tickets are usually available at the entrance of the theater/hall on the day of the performance from 1 hour before the show starts. Reservation in advance is not available. The availability and details for purchase depend on the performance.
Please check our website for details of each performance after 10:00am the day of the performance.
Payment can be made by cash or credit card (VISA, Master, Amex and JCB) for tickets on the day of the performance. We regret we are unable to accept any bank transfer, debit card, or cheque.
Do you accept group bookings?
openPlease contact our box office by email info-en@saf.or.jpWe offer concession for group of 10 or more.
How do I find out the running time of the performance and intermission?
openOnce we have estimated running time, we will announce the information on our website (see WHAT’S ON section). Generally announced at 10:00am on the first day of respective performances.
What should I do when my company whose ticket I have is running late for the performance?
openWe will keep his/her ticket for your company at the entrance of the theater/hall.
If I’m running late, can I still enter?
openIt depends on the performance, so please follow the usher’s guide. Please be at the venue enough time before the performance starts.
Can I leave the hall during the intermission?
openYes, and please show your ticket stub to the staff at the entrance when you leave and come back to the theater/hall.

Can I check the seating chart?

Can I eat and drink in the auditorium?
openNo, we are afraid eating and drinking are permitted only in the foyer.
Is there a place to eat and drink inside SAITAMA ARTS THEATER?
openDrinks and snacks are available at the buffet in the foyer.
If you want to spend some time enjoying a meal before or after the performance, we recommend the restaurant and the cafe inside the theater as follows,

Cafeteria: Caffe Peperone
There are vending machines selling beverages on the first floor.
Can I smoke?
openSmoking is not permitted except for in the designated smoking area located outside near the entrance of the main theater and audio-visual hall.
Can I check my luggage?
openYou can check your luggage, coats and flower-bouquet during the performance in our cloakrooms. Coin-return lockers (100yen deposit) are available in a limited number on the first floor (in front of General Information desk and near the Theater Arts Archives).
Is there age limit?
openPreschool children are not admitted to theater/hall, except for certain performances. For further information, see WHAT’S ON section.
Childcare services for 6-months and older children are available during the performance presented by SAITAMA ARTS FOUNDATION. Reservation is necessary by one week before the performance.

Do you have any other advices during the performance?
openThank you for your cooperation with good manners.
Please consider whether you block the view of those who are sitting behind you. Take off your hat, and do not lean out of your seat.
Turn off all the electronic devices completely, including cell phones and watch alarms. Don’t talk to your company during the performance. Though a few whispered words to you it might be, to the other audience a major distraction. Save discussions for intermission and after the performance.
Please don’t make any unrelated sounds such as plastic bag rustle or loud snore. They might be really disrespectful to others.
You cannot record or film a performance. Photography inside the theater/hall is never allowed.
Don’t change seats during the performance. If you need to leave for any reason during the concert, please show the courtesy to others, and leave between pieces.
Is there any parking available?
openYes, but it is advised to use public transportation due to limited availability.
I think I’ve left one of my belongings in the hall. What should I do?
openPlease contact General Information desk on the first floor.

What kind of services do you have for Visitors with Disabilities?
openSlopes, elevators, and multipurpose-restrooms are available. Accessible seating is available for wheelchair users in each venue. The number of seats is limited, so please contact our box office by email info-en@saf.or.jp in advance. Guide dog will be welcome.
Are there any disabled parking spaces?
openThe number of parking space is limited, so please contact us in advance. Please understand we may or may not be able to reserve the space for you depending on the day.
Are there any wheelchairs available for rent?
